Orquidea team was all fired up, ping clubs, gallaway balls, team shirts all at the ready for the clash of the giants at Calanovna.
All to no avail as the red hot Bunkers team regetably had to withdraw at the last min (just as well with our scores !!!)
All was not lost however, We won the trophy 
on what turned out to be a great days golf.

All team members Drove well on the day, but more putting pratice seems nessary. We are now eagarly awaiting the next (Return ???) game against Bunkers, which they shall hoist.

The Trophies
Another super day at Calanova Golf ( a pity the the greens were in a bit of a state ) but lots of fun, good companions and excellent weather ( when will that sun get out of my eyes ) as usual too many wayward shots put me out off contention early on ( I still looking for the first ball I lost never mind the ninth ) .Good value as ever , Thanks Les for a well organised day out .Bunkers Bar must have heard of the strength of the opposition.
